Wilson (knee/right pectoral) expects to suit up Sunday at New Orleans, the Seattle Times reports.

Analysis: While Wilson has rid himself of the high left ankle sprain suffered in Week 1, his mobility remains afflicted by the MCL sprain from Week 3, as expressed by a miserable (and career-low) 1.5 YPC this season. To make matters worse, he picked up an injury to his right pectoral in the latter stages of Sunday's tie with the Cardinals. Speaking about the most recent ailment Thursday, he said, "I can definitely throw if I needed to, throw hard if I needed to. We don't play until Sunday, obviously, which is a good thing." Hence the reason he's logged back-to-back limited practices, or the first at less than full in four-plus years as a professional. Taking him at his word, though, he should be under center for the 71st game in a row this weekend.

Woods (foot) practiced on a limited basis Thursday for the second straight day.

Analysis: Things are starting to look hopeful that the wideout can return this week against the Patriots, and the Bills could certainly use him, with Sammy Watkins and Greg Salas out, while LeSean McCoy and Marquise Goodwin are looking dicey.

Denver safety T.J Ward had a team high eight tackles in the Broncos' 27-9 win over Houston in Week 7.

Analysis: Denver's pass defense had a strong showing against the Texans, holding them to just 131 yards through the air. The run defense wasn't quite as strong, allowing 140 yards to the tune of 5.6 yards per carry. DeMarcus Ware (arm) is questionable to return and could provide a boost if he's able to play for the first time since Week 2. In Week 8 Denver will face a ninth ranked Chargers offense that they held to just 265 yards in San Diego two weeks ago.

Head coach Jay Gruden said Thursday that the Redskins will take a "wait-and-see" approach with Jones (knee), who has missed back-to-back practices, The Washington Post reports.

Analysis: Dropping the rock had been the primary concern with Jones of late, but a knee injury is now conspiring to keep him out of the backfield mix entirely Sunday against the Bengals. Granted, he performed some footwork drills without a brace on either knee with the training staff at Thursday's session, so he shouldn't be counted out yet for active status in Week 8. One practice remains for Jones to make his presence felt, but in the event of a DNP, Gruden has stated that Rob Kelley is more likely to take over Jones' role, with Chris Thompson serving in a complementary role, according to John Keim of

Goodwin (concussion) missed practice Thursday for the second straight day.

Analysis: The coaching staff doesn't expect Goodwin to be cleared in time for Sunday's game against New England, and the second missed practice of the week lends credence to that notion.
